Issue Decription:

The issue is related to the size of sepcific files which fails to upload on the IIS web server due to some size limitation also when the IIS supports 30MB file size by default.

Solution:

The upload size depends on two parameters in IIS

Request Limits : IIS server – > Site name  ->  Request Filterring -> Rules-> Edit Feature Setting -> Edit Request Filtering Settings where you can find maximum allowed content length property and you can set to specific value here. By default it is set to 30MB’s.

If the above change doesn’t resovlve the issue try the below:

The issue can be resolved by adding the below lines in the web.config file present in Ephesoft -> Application folder if the issue is not resolved by changing the request Limits as mentioned in above step:

<system.web>
<httpRuntime executionTimeout=”100000″ maxRequestLength=”1048576″ />
</system.web>

A sample web.config file which deals with upload size issue in IIS is as below:

<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
<configuration>

<system.web>
<httpRuntime executionTimeout=”100000″ maxRequestLength=”1048576″ />
