Changes to be done after importing the batch class in Linux Environment:

PAGE PROCESS MODULE:

1. Alter Page Process Module and remove RECOSTAR_HOCR plugin from the module

Please refer the batch class; Page Process Module does not have RECOSTAR_HOCR plugin:

2. Add either NUANCE_HOCR or TESSERACT_HOCR plugin to Page Process module along with desired dependencies.

Please refer the snapshot, batch class has NUANCE_HOCR/TESSERACT_HOCR Plugin in Page Process Module and no RECOSTAR_HOCR plugin is present.

EXTRACTION MODULE:

1. Alter Extraction module and remove RECOSTAR_EXTRACTION_PLUGIN.

Please refer the batch class; Extraction Module does not have RECOSTAR_EXTRACTION plugin:

2. Add NUANCE_EXTRACTION_PLUGIN in Extraction module along with required dependencies.

Please refer the snapshot, batch class has NUANCE_EXTRACTION plugin and no RECOSTAR_EXTRACTION plugin is present.

3. In addition to this please alter the batch class to use Nuance ZON files in place of corresponding RSP files configured in each document type in batch class. This should be done so that Nuance can use configured ZON files for purpose of extraction.

FOLDER IMPORT MODULE:

  1. In addition to this please alter GhostScript Image Parameters to make use of -sDEVICE=tiff24nc instead of -sDEVICE=tiffscaled24.
  2. Save and apply the changes.

EXPORT MODULE:

1. Please alter the Export module’s CREATEMULTIPAGE_FILES plugin and turn off PDF Optimization switch.

2. Adding to this please alter Multipage File Export Process to use either of following options in place of RECOSTAR.

  • IMAGE_MAGICK
  • HOCRtoPDF
  • GHOSTSCRIPT
  • ITEXT
  • ITEXT-SEARCHABLE

By default IMAGE_MAGICK will be set.

3. Please alter COPY_BATCH_XML plugin to alter paths for FINAL Export Folder along with Multipage File Name with desired path.

4. Save and apply the changes.
