Topic:

Workflows, Batch Class Performance, Classification

Issue:

HOCR file are not being created during the batch processing and is causing the Search Classification to Fail. Even after re-dploying the workflows the same issue occures.

Root Cause:

This issue is most likely due to a corrupted XML file located in the SharedFolders\Workflows\BC# directory. Even by redploying the workflows the file may not be overwritten and thus remaining corrupted.

Solution:

When a Plugin executes you should see the corresponding files located in the SharedFolders\epheosft-system-folder\BI#. If you see that there is a *batch.xml.bak.zip file created but there are no files, then you are probably dealing with a corrupted Batch Class.

To correct this you have 2 options:

1. Export your BC and re-import to the same batch class and make sure to select the Overwrite existing Checkbox in the import options.
2. Import the Batch Class as a new import and delete the corrupted Batch Class completely.

Once you have done this you should be able to use the new or updated batch class normally.
