All Windows Versions
Problems can present themselves when you are processing large image files.
Some problems you will see are:
– Prolonged Processing Times
– Backed Up Batch Instances
– Time Out Errors
Images during conversion may have exploded in size because of the parameters of a vector based file versus a high megapixel image based one.
If you are using larger files it may be necessary to adjust your imported Tif files so it will automatically adjust the images you need to process in Ephesoft.
By changing the resample and/or resize value of Imagemagick/Graphic_magick Convert Output Image Parameters you will be able to do this.
-resample 300×300 -resize 4000×4000> -compress LZW
In this example the specified parameter will only resize the image which has dimension greater than 4000×4000 pixels and it will also maintain the aspect ratio of the image. By doing this Recostar is now able to OCR images successfully.
