Issue: During email import, you receive a message stating “Attachment Conversion Ignored”

Analysis: This message is not an error. It is a message applied by default when an attachment with an extension that is not configured to be processed is detected during email import. Most customers only want to process specific document types. To process additional email extension types, you must (1) check that Ephesoft supports the extension type (http://wiki.ephesoft.com/supported-file-types) and (2) add the extension to the mail-import.properties config file.

If you want to add docx support

dcma.supported.attachment.extension=doc;docx;xls;zip

 

Important: It is unnecessary to add native extensions to the config file such as pdf and tif for processing
