Please find Hot-Fix link the consolidated HOT-FIX over Ephesoft v4.1.1.0 for the following issues:

  • [#EPHE-13990] – FW: Invoice Problems
  • [#EPHE-14379] – Automatic Classification in Doc Assembler not giving desired results
  • [#EPHE-14384]- Batch Class setup screen is slow to load after upgrading to v4.1.0.0 – about 10-15 seconds each time the BC is opened.

  • EEN-6123- ImageScan Enhancements
  • EEN-6132- Machine learning >> Organization Name not extracted correctly – For Loan App3 it is not extracting the complete Name for the Bank.
  • EEN-6204 – Failed to train DLF in machine learning with Tesseract as OCR engine.
  • EEN-6282 – Suspicious error in the dcma-all.log regarding machine learning after upgrade from 4061 to 4110

Steps to Deploy:

  1. Stop Ephesoft server.
  2. Add below property in application.properties located at {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}\Application\WEB-INF\classes\META-INF\application.properties:
    table_cell_value_change_script_name=ScriptTableCellValueChange
    #Enter the time duration in minutes for which auto refresh must work.
    auto.refresh.limit=10
  3. Extract HOT-FIX_4110_Patch2.zip file.
    a. Open Scripts folder.
    b. There will be two folders present in it BC and BC0.
    c. Open BC0 /scripts folder.
    d. Copy “ScriptTableCellValueChange.java” script file in SharedFolders/BC0/scripts folder.
    e. Now open BC/scripts folder.
    f. Copy “ScriptTableCellValueChange.java” script file in script folder in all batch class folder i.e. SharedFolders/BC*/scripts/ folder.
  4. Open SQL folder.
    a. As per Ephesoft application database (MsSQL, mysql(maria) or oracle) open respective folder.
    b. Execute all queries in update.sql file on the database.
  5. Open Application folder.
    a. Take backup of batchInstance, batchList, bm, folderManager, home, login, Reporting, reviewValidate, systemConfig, uploadbatch, webscanner, webscannerwithoutapplet folder present in {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application folder.
    b. Copy batchInstance, batchList, bm, folderManager, home, login,Reporting, reviewValidate, systemConfig, uploadbatch, webscanner, webscannerwithoutapplet from the zip extracted Application folder to {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application folder.
    c. Take backup of ReviewValidate.css file present in {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/css folder.
    d. Copy css/ReviewValdiate.css from the zip extracted Application folder to {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/css folder.
    e. Take backup of locale.js file present in {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/i18n/common folder.
    f. Copy i18n/common/locale.js from the zip extracted Application folder to {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/i18n/common folder.
    g. Take backup of locale.js file present in {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/i18n/batchClassManagement folder.
    h. Copy i18n/batchClassManagement/locale.js from the zip extracted Application folder to {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/i18n/batchClassManagement folder.
    i. Take backup of below jars if located:
    – dcma-batch*.jar
    – dcma-core*.jar
    – dcma-data-access*.jar
    – dcma-gxt-admin*.jar
    – dcma-gxt-core*.jar
    – dcma-gxt-review-validate*.jar
    – dcma-scripting-plugin*.jar
    – dcma-table-extraction*.jar
    – dcma-workflows*.jar
    – dcma-da*.jar
    – dcma-util*.jar
    – dcma-text-analyzer*.jar
    Copy all jars WEB-INF/lib/* from zip extracted Application folder to {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/WEB-INF/lib folder.
  6. Update “workflow.deploy” property to true in {Ephesoft-Install-Dir}/Application/WEB-INF/classes/META-INF/dcma-workflows/dcma-workflows.properties.
  7. Delete all .ser files present in SharedFolders/BC*/ folder.
  8. Start Ephesoft server.

If during the server start up, an error is encountered like mentioned below, then please perform all the prerequisites for the database patch upgrade and restart the server again.

[com.ephesoft.dcma.da.common.ExecuteUpdatePatch] - An Exception occurred while executing the patch.
