We may observe an issue with Upgrade to Ephesoft 18.104.22.168 where the installer pops up a message to select the database in registry to correct database despite a correct entry already set in SelectedDb registry Key:
This is observed in cases where we have MSSQL Always ON feature Enabled and below steps can be followed to fix the same:
1. Make a copy of the server.xml file found in path \Ephesoft\JavaAppServer\conf and either rename or move to another location.
2. Take the copy of the server.xml file found in path \Ephesoft\JavaAppServer\confMSSQL and paste in folder \Ephesoft\JavaAppServer\conf
3. Modify registry key ‘AVAILABILITYGROUPCHECKBOX’ found in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Temp\Ephesoft folder and delete the value so that it is blank.
4. Try the upgrade again and see if we can bypass the error now.
